Dry Ice
For those of you familiar with the EMS room reservation process, the ordering process is very similar.All orders are placed in the EMS system, and a Step by Step Guide is available for help on how to use the new process.
If you do not have access to the EMS system, please go to EMS and click on the Request an Account box in the upper right corner of the page. Once you have an EMS account you can reach Dispatch@cuanschutz.edu or 303.724.1777 to request the DRY ICE templet. Accounts can take up to 48 hours to be granted.
Compressed Gases
Airgas is the contracted supplier for compressed and liquid Medical, Industrial and Specialty Gases for the University of Colorado Denver and the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. You can use their website (www.airgas.com) to place orders, view and pay invoices, view cylinder history and balances and gain access to the online catalog with over 160,000 items. In order to set up an account, simply fill out the Airgas Account Setup Form . Complete the application and fax it to the number listed on the form and Airgas will notify you via e-mail when your account has been established. You will also be given information on how to access your online account, complete with preferred user name and password. Procurement cards are the preferred method of payment, but an SPO can also be issued by contacting the Procurement Department.
On most items, if you place your order by 3 p.m., it will be delivered right to your department by a friendly Airgas driver the next business day. You can schedule a cylinder pick-up via your online account, by calling Airgas at 303-370-7800 or via fax at 303-370-7850. Please be sure to use your Airgas account number when placing pick up orders.
