The University of Colorado Denver and Anschutz utilizes a standing order contractor (SOC) program to pre-qualify contractors yearly for inclusion​ in the SOC program.
Standing Order Contractor (SOC) approved contractors:
- Existing space with adjacent occupancy
- Existing space without adjacent occupancy
- New construction space with adjacent occupancy
- General infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
This program pre-qualifies the following types of contractors:

- Mechanical Contractors
- Plumbing Contractors
- Electrical Contractors
- Asbestos-Lead-Mold Abatement
- Asphalt Paving
- Audio-Visual Integration
- Concrete Flatwork
- Emergency Mitigation & Restoration
- Fire Alarm
- Landscape & Irrigation
- Roofing
- Signage
- Telecom Infrastructure
Request for Proposals open only to the SOC contractors will include projects with a contract value below $500,000. Specialty types of construction may be excluded from this program.
