The
Campus Circulator service provides daily intercampus transportation for
patients, visitors, students, faculty and staff on campus.
Hours of Operation
The Circulator’s hours of operation are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
When the campus is closed for major holidays the Campus Circulator will not be running.
Please also see “Snow Days” below for possible service interruptions.
Due
to the high volume of customers we assist the Circulator does not run
on a specified route. To request a ride on campus please call the
Facilities Dispatch Center at 303-724-1777 and specify the following:
- Location to be picked up and destination – building and entrance.
- Time of pick up.
- Number of people needing a ride. (Please note that each cart can carry 5 passengers.)
Please
call ahead for transport as the circulator is most likely with other
customers and will need time to complete this trip. Try to allow at
least 7-10 minutes for the circulator to arrive from the time you have
called.
To
provide the best customer service and to continually assist passengers
the circulators are not able to be on “wait” or be on “hold” status for
long periods of time. Therefore, on average the circulator will wait up
to 3 minutes in responding to a call before they will need to move on to
the next waiting customers
For
safety purposes the circulator carts are not allowed to travel outside
of campus grounds and will only travel between designated buildings on
campus.
Inclement Weather
The electric carts do not always perform well in extreme wet, snow or cold. Therefore, in cold temperatures we will operate vans for the circulator. There are also extreme weather conditions in which the Circulator Service will be temporarily suspended due to safety concerns. If you have any questions as to whether or not the Circulator is running please call Facilities Dispatch at 303-724-1777.
The CU Anschutz Medical Campus Rail Shuttle connects with the R Line at the Fitzsimons Station on north Fitzsimons Parkway. Passengers can take this FREE shuttle to campus.

The shuttle will make a total of five stops within campus in central locations near university, education and research buildings, Children's Hospital, University of Colorado Hospital and the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center.
Please note that in the interest of safety the bus will ONLY stop at the designated bus stop locations.
- Stop 1 - Campus Services
- Stop 2 - CU Education Buildings/Children's Hospital
- Stop 3 - Fitzsimons Building/Nighthorse Campbell
- Stop 4 - CU Research Buildings/University Hospital
- Stop 5 - Anschutz Health and Wellness Center
- Stop 6 - CU Medicine/Health Sciences Library
The shuttle service only provides transportation from the Fitzsimons station and will not service the Colfax station.
Operating Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Please call (303) 726-2809 if you are waiting at a stop.
- No service on Saturday and Sunday.
- Holiday hours will be posted at stops and in buses as well as notifications through the Campus Shuttle app.
Outside of these hours there is no shuttle transportation from the Fitzsimons Station into campus.
