Time to Ungrind is a campaign to address the hustle and grind culture that is prevalent in many of our student's lives, and impacts mental health and overall well-being. Our campaign hopes to help students recognize & prioritize self-care, balance, and wellness in alignment with achieving their academic and professional goals.
Each month, SHP will focus on a different domain of wellness, based on priorities of CU Anschutz students from the National College Health Assessment offered in Spring 2023. The first Tuesday of each month we will host a kick-off event for students on the Education 2 Skybridge from 12:00pm-1:00pm. By attending students can win prizes, learn about upcoming events for the month, and enjoy food and engaging activities.
For students that participate in the monthly challenges; which include behaviors you can track yourself, attending events, or learning about support resources, students may submit a entry for prizes. Students simply complete one or more of the challenges and by submitting their entry form they are entered to win one of three $100 Amazon Gift Cards or one of five $20 Amazon Gift Cards each month!

This training series is designed to provide faculty and staff with tools and resources to help promote student wellness and support around topics that may be challenging yet prevalent in our student population. Our goal is to bring awareness and education around each topic; to address stigma and barriers students may face when contemplating to accessing help; and to provide skills to help engage in supportive conversations with knowledge around referring to campus resources.
Completing all of the workshops will provide a certificate of completion in your HR file.
These sessions will be taught multiple times throughout the year, and do not require you to go in a sequence. Pick and choose based on topics, dates and times that work for you
