CU Anschutz Student Senate is committed to being the student voice on campus. To that end, we wanted to honor those students and student organizations who made a difference this year. The healthcare profession is preparing us for careers that will make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments.
To nominate an advisor, student or organization, review the categories below and submit the corresponding form. In order to be considered, nominations must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 23rd. Winners will be notified by Friday, April 21st.
The awards are for the 2022-2023 academic year and only registered organizations are eligible to receive an award.
Awards:
Embracing both the university community as well as the local Denver/Metro community through involvement and service is a priority to many student organizations. Through commitment to enhancing life experiences of the members of our community, student organization members meet needs, engage in hands-on learning, and find personal fulfillment via acts of community service. Many student organizations find by providing service to the community, they further engage in pursuing more sustainable commitments to outside organizations needing assistance.
Eligibility
Any recognized student organization (affiliated or associated) at CU Anschutz. The student organization registration must be current with the Campus Student Services Office and the CU Anschutz Student Senate. Registration/affiliation agreement forms are available at www.ucdenver.edu/studentsenate on the News and Forms page. The registration/affiliation agreement form must be complete with all signatures.
Criteria

Through a commitment to enhancing our community via acts of service, the individual student meets the needs of the community, engages in hands-on learning, and finds personal fulfillment.
Eligibility
Any student enrolled as a degree-seeking student in a degree program at CU Anschutz who has provided outstanding community service through their own efforts as an individual, outside of any contributions they may have made as a member of a student organization.
Criteria
The student organization must have organized activities, events, and programs that have had a significant impact on the quality of campus life.
Any student enrolled as a degree-seeking student in a degree program at CU Anschutz who has participated as a member of a CU Anschutz recognized student organization or contributed their efforts as an individual (not necessarily as part of a student organization).
Nominate yourself or a peer you believe has made a difference​.
This award recognizes a CU Anschutz Student organization Advisor who has a strong educational role within the group and has helped students learn through their involvement. The nominee should demonstrate dedication, availability, and energy in their involvement with their students. They should be valued and respected by those students with whom they work and have a strong understanding of the organization's needs and goals.
Only current staff or faculty advisors listed on the club roster through Campus Activities are eligible for this award.
