Last day to send fall appeal forms: budget increases, computer, income, Satisfactory Academic Progress and similar requests.
DEC2026
Fall Accept or Loan Increase Deadline
Last day to accept your aid or request a loan increase for fall. You can still request an increase after you accept, up to this deadline. After it, contact us: a professional judgment review may still be possible.
JAN2027
Spring Aid Pays Out
Spring disbursements and refunds happen about a week before your term starts. Spring 2027 terms begin between Jan. 4 and Jan. 25, depending on your program. Check the Academic Calendar for your start date.
Next Year's FAFSA Reaches Your Record
Your FAFSA for the upcoming academic year is loaded into your student record. Check your To Do List in UCDAccess for any forms or documents we need.
APR2027
Spring Appeal Deadline
Last day to send spring appeal forms: budget increases, computer, income, Satisfactory Academic Progress and similar requests.
Spring Accept or Increase Deadline
Last day to accept your aid or request an increase for spring. In 2027, that falls between early and late April, depending on when your program's spring term ends. You can still request an increase after you accept, up to this deadline. After it, contact us: a professional judgment review may still be possible.
Summer Aid Is Awarded
If you received aid for fall and spring and are registered at least half time for summer, your summer aid is awarded and we email you a notice. If you did not attend or did not receive aid in fall and spring, contact us to make sure you can receive summer aid. See Summer Aid.
MAY2027
Summer Aid Pays Out
Summer disbursements and refunds happen the week before your term starts. Summer 2027 terms begin between May 10 and June 7, depending on your program. Check the Academic Calendar for your start date.
JUL2027
Clear Your To Do List for Fall
Finish every To Do List item in UCDAccess still marked Initiated or Incomplete so your fall aid is not delayed.
AUG2027

Fall disbursements and refunds happen the week before your term starts. Check the Academic Calendar for your start date.

2027-2028 FAFSA Opened
The 2027-2028 FAFSA opened Sept. 23, 2026, and uses your 2025 tax information. Our school code is 004508 (University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz).
