As part of ongoing efforts to improve user experience and enhance IT security, the Identity Management team will be migrating a key system to the cloud from May 20 to 23. There is no impact expected for existing university users, though new student and employee accounts assigned during this time will be created after this maintenance window. ISS and OIT are working with multiple departments and vendors campuswide to implement this migration quickly and effectively. For Sitefinity:
For those wishing to gain access to an existing Sitefinity website, please be sure that you have permission from the current site owner. Site owners can submit permissions approvals by submitting a ticket on the @Web website. Click the button to get started and find the relevant request form.
For SharePoint Online:
SharePoint Online is the intranet solution used by the university. Unlike Sitefinity, SharePoint sites, pages, and content require a user to sign in with their university credentials to view.
