Michael Miller
Assistant Vice Chancellor and Deputy Chief Information Officer
Michael G. Miller, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Deputy CIO, has been with CU Anschutz since 2009 holding various leadership positions within information services. These roles focused on developing technology solutions to help advance medical science, health care education and clinical care outcomes. His expertise spans application development, data analytics, software engineering and strategic IT leadership. Notably, he was responsible for the management, strategy, direction and execution of Information Technology for the School of Medicine with a team of over 40 technology professionals. Michael is driving technological innovation in Enterprise Research Computing and ensuring operational excellence across the Audio Visual, Customer Services and Support, Enterprise Application Services, Enterprise Operations and Infrastructure domains for the Anschutz Medical Campus. Before joining the University of Colorado, Michael spent 9 years working at State Farm in their Technical Architecture and Information Technology Research and Development departments. Michael’s enthusiasm lies in staying abreast of emerging technologies, delivering customer centric technology solutions, and he is committed to aligning these innovations with our campus mission areas. On a personal level he is an energetic, driven person who loves to help people learn new skills and utilize technology to help solve complex problems. He is passionate about figuring out what people need to excel, and then helping them develop their path to achieving their goals.

Amy Dahlbach
Program Manager of Culture and Organizational Development

Amy joined the University of Colorado in 2007. She began her university career on the Boulder campus working in Enrollment Services and transitioned to OIT on the Denver | Anschutz campus in 2014. Amy is responsible for the development and implementation of OIT’s culture and organizational development strategy, and driving initiatives that align with organizational values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and overall business objectives. Amy is a certified professional in talent development (CPTD) and believes investment in people and culture is foundational to organizational success. Amy’s passion is around leadership development and coaching. “If we take the time to support and listen to team members, provide opportunities for growth, establish clear expectations, and help people to find purposeful work – it creates an environment where team members can truly thrive.”

Ted Geissler MS, MA
Director of Customer Service and Support

Ted joined OIT in 2011 as a student employee at the Service Desk, while attaining his master’s in teaching from Metro State. He joined OIT full time in April 2013 and has taken on progressive responsibilities in myriad IT support roles. Ted has managed teams in support of academic, administrative, and research activities. He secured his master's in management and organization from CU Denver Business School in 2019. Before joining the OIT Leadership Team, Ted served as assistant director of Technology Support Services, where he helped provide leadership for the Service Desk, Desktop Support, Classroom/AV Support, EMS, and Digital Signage. Outside of work, Ted enjoys playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, running, hiking, and camping.

Daniel Haggar
Director of Enterprise Application Services

Dan joined OIT in 2002 and has held various information technology management positions during his tenure at CU. Dan holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in computer information systems from Regis University. He enjoys understanding the inner workings of technology platforms and continues to be “hands on” with enterprise IT projects, systems design, integrations, software licensing and procurement. In his spare time, Dan is an avid outdoorsman and angler who loves to spend time in the Colorado outdoors with his wife and two kids.

David Lowry
Sr. Director of Enterprise Operations and Infrastructure

David joined OIT in 2017 from the University of Colorado Systems Office with two decades of experience in IT after a previous career as a high school history teacher and residential mental health staff. David earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver. He believes that “listening is key to understanding,” and that strong relationships are key to supporting our constantly evolving technology landscape. David enjoys road cycling and triathlons.

Fred Manly MSHA
Director of Finance and Administration

Fred came to CU Denver as an accountant at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2004. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master's in healthcare administration. Fred claims that technology appeals to his inner geek and he enjoys tinkering with processes and technology. Fred is a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Persian Gulf War and his work is guided by the ideals of “service” and “support.” He loves a nice bike ride to clear his head.

Lindsay Massey
Director of Delivery Excellence

Lindsay started at the University of Colorado in 2019 and has worked for the Denver and Anschutz campuses in addition to System prior to joining OIT at the Anschutz Medical Campus in May of 2022. Lindsay has worked in higher education since 2004 starting at Florida State’s International Programs and expanding into admissions, student support, and marketing operations within online education services before finding her passion in project management. Since earning her master’s in Project and Program Management from Brandeis University, Lindsay has served in a variety of project management roles including overseeing the project management team within Pearson’s Online Learning Services and is excited about creating a Center of Excellence solution specific for an esteemed medical campus.
