STEM POSTER DAY AT THE CAPITOL

On the morning of Friday, January 20th, 2023 young researchers gathered at the Colorado State Capitol to present and discuss their work talk with lawmakers and the public as well as promote the amazing research being done in our community!

GOAL | The main goal of the event was to create a dialog between scientists, legislators and their communities.

WHO | The event included presenters (undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs) from the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, the Colorado School of Mines, the University of Denver, the University of Northern Colorado and the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

TOPICS | Topics covered included research on a wide breadth of topics that will help improve our lovely state: Biomedical sciences, Bioethics, Chemistry, Ecology, Education, Engineering, Geography, Geophysics, Healthcare, Math, Physics, Robotics, Technology and Transportation.
