eComm License

The eComm license includes Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Cvent. It enables users to create and send personalized promotional and transactional email messages using contact data of our constituents. The university will centrally fund one eComm license for each school, college and university-approved administrative units.

ISS maintains a bulk mailing system commonly referred to as a List Server or “Listserv.” Users may subscribe to and unsubscribe from the lists as needed. Users or departments can maintain their own custom lists. The List Server also has mail-merge capabilities. Listservs are only for internal communications, all mass external communications need to go through eComm.
