The AHEC Scholars Program is an interdisciplinary education and training program with curricula focused on rural and/or underresourced populations. Scholars must commit to two years within the program, which consists of a minimum of 40 hours per year of team-based training in a rural or underserved environment and an additional 40 hours per year of didactic education.

The LaCamera Oncology Travel Award (LaCOTA), provides CU Anschutz Medical School students up to $1,500 to attend oncology-related educational trainings and conferences to further their understanding of cancer prevention and treatment.
