|El Alba Cooperative|
El Alba Cooperative is a business cooperative sponsored in part by the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. The cooperative is owned and operated by catering entrepreneurs of color, and came to fruition through the University’s Resident Leadership Council community engagement activities. The cooperative offers commercial kitchen space and culturally competent business support for residents who want to open and operate food-based businesses. Focusing on underserved groups, the El Alba Cooperative caterers are immigrants, refugees, and people of color in North Aurora.
El Alba Cooperative supports economic empowerment, employment, and the continued redevelopment of empty and blighted commercial buildings in North Aurora. For more information contact El Alba at firstname.lastname@example.org.
El Alba co-op members provide a diverse array of cuisines including Authentic Mexican, Asian fusion, sushi, Latin American, barbeque, baked goods and more.
