Hello! My name is Abigayle (Abi) Morgan. I am a Student Assistant for the CU Pre-Health Scholars Program (CUPS). I am currently pursuing my undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as fulfilling the prerequisites for the University of Colorado Anschutz Nursing Program. Outside of the University of Colorado Denver, I work as an Acute Injury Orthopedic Nurse Aide at UCHealth. I am committed to fostering a collaborative, supportive, engaging, and accessible learning environment. My mission is to set your student up for success in all of their future endeavors

Hello! My name is Amir Salehi, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Denver, majoring in Civil Engineering.  As an international student, I’m passionate about connecting with people from different cultures and helping others adjust to new academic environments. Through my work with Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives, I aim to support students in achieving their academic goals and inspire the next generation of scholars interested in science, technology, and engineering. Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring new places and hikes, learning about technology and AI, as well as engaging in community programs that promote access and engagement.

Hi! My name is Dina Seng, and I’m a second-year Accounting student at the University of Colorado Denver. Although my academic focus is in accounting, I’ve always had a strong interest in leadership and helping others, which has allowed me to connect with opportunities beyond my major. I hope to become someone people can look up to, create positive change in the world, and be a source of support for those who need it. Outside of academics and my goals, I love hanging out with friends, art, and finding new experiences that help me grow, stay inspired, and see the world from new perspectives.

I am a third-year Biochemistry student on the pre-med track at CU Denver, balancing rigorous scientific inquiry with a minor in Business. My academic focus is driven by a passion for understanding complex systems, whether biological or organizational. I apply this dedication outside the classroom as the new 6th Grade Cohort Lead for the CUPS program.

 

Hi! My name is Kim-Phung (Kimmy) Van and I am a learning assistant for the CU Pre-Health Scholars program and a part of the EOPI team! I am a first-generation student currently studying Psychology with double minors in Spanish and Chemistry at the University of Colorado Denver. I am deeply committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and empowering educational environment where everyone can thrive CUPS offered me many opportunities that supported me in my transition into college, which ignited my desire to be able to give back to the program and express my infinite gratitude. 

Hello! My name is Matthew Kleyman, the CUPS High School Program Coordinator and learning assistant for the CU Pre-Health Scholars Program and a member of the EOPI team. I am currently a student at the University of Colorado Denver on the Pre-Medicine track majoring in biochemistry and double minoring in biology and chemistry. As a former CUPS scholar, I am now able to give back to the program and allow for further growth and development for our students. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, and going on adventures.

Hi there! I’m Ntemena, but everyone calls me Bubbles! ✨ I’m the Senior Cohort Lead for the Pre-Health CUPS Scholars Program. Originally from South Africa, where I studied Psychology, I’ve been in the U.S. for the past two years. During this time, I’ve been working with kids and traveling around the States, checking off all the iconic spots I’ve only ever seen on TV. I’m currently pursuing my B.S. in Public Health at CU Denver, with dreams of going into nursing. I’m all about creating a warm, joyful, and curious space where learning is fun and never-ending. I can’t wait to see what we can discover and learn from each other! 🌟

Hello! My name is Samantha Ramirez, a Student Assistant for the Undergraduate Pre-Health Program at the Office of Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives. Currently, I'm in my second year at the University of Colorado Denver, pursuing a pre-med track. Although born in Denver, I spent the initial five years of my life in a small little town in Mexico called La Garita, Jalisco. Beyond the realm of academics, I have a passion for volunteering, exploring the outdoors, and baking!
