The Building Opportunities for Networking and Development (BOND) Mentoring Program is designed to increase access to mentorship for all staff and faculty on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. BOND recognizes that mentorship is important for personal and professional growth and development. The literature shows that mentorship benefits both mentees and mentors—expanding networks, more effective problem-solving, and improved learning and engagement. Thus, BOND was developed to provide opportunities for all, including those who have faced challenges in accessing networking or mentorship. Our goal is to foster connection, support a sense of belonging, and encourage professional development.
