Updates to Event Prices for Reservations July 1, 2026 and Beyond

To continue to provide excellent support for the large number of events and activities being held on campus, an extensive review of campus event support services was conducted in spring 2026. As a result of this review, senior administration has approved rate increases to take effect for all reservations occurring July 1, 2026 and beyond.

What to Expect

AV & Facilities event support services pricing will increase for all activities taking place after July 1, 2026. Activities with services already requested will be subject to the updated pricing.
If you have a reservation for early July, you will be issued an updated confirmation email in June with updated pricing.
Due to fiscal year end invoicing, new pricing for support services in the EMS scheduling system will not appear until mid-July. To assist with budget planning, the new rates are published on the service provider websites (linked below).
After July 17, Reservation Summaries (PDF) in EMS will reflect the updated rates.
New rate structures for external entity rentals have been established.

What is Not Changing

Current reservations will remain in place. Reservation holders do not need to take action.
Confirmed services will remain scheduled; only the pricing will be updated.
Services remain a la carte, so you know what services you are paying for.
After-hours Event Services charges and Room Use charges for internal customers will remain the same.
