This presentation will highlight the barriers to services and the impact that COVID is having on the unsheltered and immigrant population in Colorado's rural San Luis Valley. Presenters will provide a "tool kit" for learning and engaging these self-isolating, vulnerable populations who often distrust institutional services. Trained facilitators will introduce the cutting edge "Protective Factors" service model and provide and facilitate an activity that illustrates the potential of this new approach.
