Chancellor's Message

Campus Broadcast Studio Opens Doors, 1-28-21

Dear colleagues,

I am proud to share that CU Anschutz has opened its own dedicated broadcast studio on campus. This new facility represents our continued effort to get the word out about the depth and breadth of our expertise as a leading academic medical campus.

Located in the communications suite on the first floor of the Fitzsimons Building, the in-house studio gives television and radio stations the ability to conduct professional remote interviews of the highest quality with our own experts. The first-rate facility is outfitted with the best audio and video capabilities, and offers a ready-made backdrop for highlighting trusted voices on diverse topics. Those booking the studio will be required to follow on-campus safety and screening protocols, and in-studio capacity limits and cleaning processes will help ensure safe operation of the facility.

The new studio will no doubt become an invaluable resource for our campus community, and further strengthen our relationships with local and national media outlets interested in covering the stories and people behind the extraordinary research, innovation, education and care taking place on our campus today.

I encourage you to bring your story ideas and research breakthroughs to our media relations team. Tap into their expertise, and this new state-of-the-art tool, to help tell our story far and wide. Please visit the studio website or contact our media relations team to learn more.

Sincerely,

Don Elliman
Chancellor
