The CU Anschutz broadcast studio offers professional television and radio connection services to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, linking faculty experts with news and media outlets around the world. The studio is also available for use by outside organizations.
Operated by the CU Anschutz Office of Communications, our studio is fully equipped for live and pre-recorded interviews. We collaborate with local, national and international producers to offer timely and valuable interviews with CU Anschutz experts on today’s most pressing issues and research.The studio is conveniently located on campus in the CU Anschutz Office of Communications. You can find us on the first floor, office number N1206 in the Fitzsimons Building: 13001 E. 17th Place, with visitor parking options behind the building. Options include the Ignacio Visitors Lot: 13350 E. 19th Ave and the Henderson Parking Garage: N Scranton St.
We make it easy to communicate across the globe through high-quality audio and video connection. Our experts can be broadcast live or pre-recorded for TV and radio interviews as well as podcast appearances.
The studio facility is outfitted with broadcast-quality IP/ISDN audio connection, ReadyCam for live and recorded TV interviews, a professional lighting system, a soundproof environment, an electronic backdrop that can be customized, and a teleprompter.
The broadcast studio is run by the CU Anschutz Media Relations team and is available to faculty, university affiliates, and external guests for live or pre-taped interviews or videos. Please contact the CU Anschutz Media Relations team at Media@CUAnschutz.edu to coordinate and arrange interviews and delivery of information for story ideas and research.
We offer this service at no cost for use by CU faculty and during the pandemic, at no cost to our campus hospital partners. However, there is a small cost for service when used by outside organizations.
