We provide communications resources, expertise and services to help faculty, staff and students share their work, connect with internal and external audiences and strengthen the CU Anschutz brand. CU Anschutz Insider is distributed every other Monday to students, faculty and staff and highlights timely information, campus news, events and community accomplishments.

The Campus Community Newsroom features stories, updates and events from across CU Anschutz and helps keep our campus community informed and connected.

Submissions are accepted year-round, with preference given to content that has a clear CU Anschutz connection and broad relevance to students, faculty and staff.

Significant research breakthroughs, institutional announcements, major awards and other high-impact stories may be appropriate for promotion on the main CU Anschutz social media accounts.

Our team will help you review upcoming announcements and milestones and assess fit for the main channels to potentially help maximize visibility for news that supports our campus priorities.

Earned media coverage helps raise awareness of the people, research and innovations that make CU Anschutz a leader in education, research and patient care. Our team works proactively to identify timely and important stories and connect reporters with relevant experts on campus.

We can:

  • Conduct outreach to local, national and trade media outlets
  • Identify media opportunities for faculty, staff, students and institutional initiatives
  • Connect reporters with subject matter experts
  • Coordinate interviews and media requests
  • Ensure interactions with reporters follow CU policies and guidelines
