More than 100 CU Anschutz faculty and staff participated in the Cozy Creations for Little Patients event, creating 43 handmade fleece blankets for Children's Hospital Colorado. The event fostered cross-campus connections while supporting a meaningful cause. Thanks to Tiffany Hamilton's efforts, the initiative brought comfort to patients and strengthened community ties.

CU Anschutz Staff Council will host a Summer Food Drive June 1 – 12 to support students, faculty and staff experiencing food insecurity by collecting food, hygiene products and pet supplies across campus.

Our volunteers spent the morning of May 8 helping beautify Sand Creek Park and Preserve, collecting more than 10 bags of trash while enjoying a morning of community connection and service. The annual event, now in its third year, reflects Staff Council’s ongoing commitment to giving back — and volunteers are already invited to join the next opportunity: a blanket-making event benefiting pediatric patients for Children’s Hospital Colorado.
