Meet Dr. Tori Huynh (she/her/hers)

I am a general surgery resident at CU pursuing a career as a breast cancer surgeon.  I was born and raised in Houston and later earned my bachelor's at the University of Texas Austin and my medical degree at Texas A&M.  I currently live in South Denver with my wife and two cats.

My research interests are wide in scope, ranging from initiatives to reduce excessive opioid prescribing after surgery to improving surgical education.  My main focus includes evaluating quality of life measures - physical well-being, sexual well-being, psychosocial well-being, and breast satisfaction - during and after breast cancer treatment.  With a better understanding of how these measures change, we can provide supportive services and target interventions where needed to improve long-term quality of life in our breast cancer patients, during treatment and into survivorship.
