CU Regents Select Finalist for CU President, 4-12-22

Dear students, faculty and staff,

Today, the University of Colorado Board of Regents voted to advance Todd Saliman as sole finalist for University of Colorado president with a unanimous vote. Our gratitude goes to the CU Regents for leading an extensive search process with a national firm that brought 39 candidates from diverse backgrounds forward for consideration.

A CU alumnus with a deep dedication to the university and the state of Colorado, Todd has done a tremendous job serving the four-campus system in an interim role since last July. He has been a part of CU for more than a decade, serving as senior vice president for strategy, government relations and chief financial officer prior to his appointment as interim president. Todd is a longtime supporter of the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and shares our commitment to rapidly advancing progress in each of our mission areas.

Our campus community will have an opportunity to hear about Todd’s vision for the university in an open forum to be held in the coming weeks. More information will come soon on that event, and we encourage you to take part. The CU Regents will consider feedback from the CU community and other stakeholders before voting on CU’s next president later this month.

Sincerely,

Don Elliman
Chancellor
