In mid-October, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be enabled for all university-provided Zoom accounts. After this change, the next time you log into your user dashboard to create new meeting links, update your profile settings, or access meeting transcripts and recordings, you will need to verify a MFA push notification with the Duo app.

• This only applies to individual Zoom accounts 
  
• This only applies when logging into the Zoom user dashboard 
  
• This does NOT apply to Zoom meeting links 
  
• This does NOT apply to Zoom conference rooms or classrooms 
  

Additionally, Zoom is introducing a new web experience for your user dashboard that is designed to make navigation simpler and faster. The primary changes will be a cleaner homepage, a new top navigation bar, streamlined access to meetings and account settings, and an enhanced profile menu that centralizes personal settings, recordings, transcripts, and AI Companion features. The update focuses on improving the user experience and does NOT change core meeting functionality. You will see these display changes starting in early October as Zoom rolls them out.
