On August 6th, the UCDAccess portal will be renamed to CUAccess.  

This new name was a collaborative branding effort between CU Denver University Communications, CU Anschutz University Communications, Information Strategy and Services and the Denver Office of Information Technology to create a more inclusive environment. “CU Access” is more intuitive for users, and it will allow for long-term growth and scalability.  

When is this happening:  

• This change will be applied by UIS system office after hours on Thursday, August 6, 2026.   
  
• There is NO outage expected. 
  
• To avoid loss of service, the current URL will continue to work.
• University websites will be updated with this new name after the change on August 6th.  
  

We look forward to creating an inclusive environment for both campuses with this change.
