How to Get eComm Program Access

Welcome to eComm! Thanks for your interest in our program which includes Salesforce/Marketing Cloud (email communications) and Cvent (event management). Below is an outline of the eComm onboarding process which can take 2-6 weeks to complete. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns along the way.

1. Discovery 

Submit this form to let us know you’re interested in learning more about eComm and we will reach out within 48 business hours to schedule a discovery session to discuss your business needs and eComm program capabilities.

If we determine that eComm is a good fit for your unit, please email ecomm@cuanschutz.edu and (a) confirm your willingness to move forward with provisioning a license; (b) specify to whom the license should be provisioned; and (c) specify to what speedtype it should be billed.

2. Pre-Access Requirements

Before you can receive your login credentials, please complete a few short Skillsoft courses and sign the program agreement.

All users must complete the three following SkillSoft courses:

Cvent users ONLY must complete the additional course below:

Once you have completed all required courses, please send a screenshot of your Skillsoft transcript to ecomm@cuanschutz.edu

***All required courses and the signed program agreement must be completed by the last Wednesday of the month in order for you to be provisioned for the following month. Incomplete pre-access requirements will delay provisioning for at least one calendar month.***

3. Login Details & New User Training

  • You will receive your login credentials and links to the required New User Training from the CU System eComm team around the first Thursday of the following month. Let us know if you are unable to log in and please complete the new user training and quiz within 28 days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from the CU System eComm team once you pass the quiz and a notification that your eComm license is fully active.

***You will NOT be able to send an email or launch an event website UNTIL you complete the new user training and quiz.***

4. First Build

Now that you have completed the new user training and quiz, your eComm specialist can provide additional training and guidance so you feel totally comfortable using the tools, including building your first email or event website together. Email ecomm@cuanschutz.edu to schedule a zoom session. Your first email or event website may take more time than anticipated to finalize, so please plan accordingly (at least 1-2 weeks).
