Learn About Research, Health Care Professions, & CU Anschutz Medical Campus
PreHealth Day
is an exciting CU Anschutz tradition where high school students,
college students, recent graduates, and advisors and parents/guardians, are invited to learn
more about Health and Research Careers and the process to apply to those
programs.
The
2023 event will take place on campus for the first time since 2019 and includes campus tours and hands-on activities, as well as the opportunity to interact with fellow students and campus representatives face to face day. Panel sessions will be livestreamed as well for interested parties who are unable to visit campus on September 30th.
The day begins with a welcome keynote and an interprofessional case study presentation, where
faculty will discuss a medical situation and highlight how multiple medical
and research disciplines come together to provide quality and thorough
patient care.
Following campus tours and hands-on activities hosted by several programs, interactive student panel sessions will focus on how to effectively transition from high school to college or from
undergraduate to graduate studies.
The final session of the day is a panel of admissions specialists who will discuss how to apply and be accepted into their programs.
We are excited to have you learn about the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus!
