Extending Remote Working Through April 30

April 1, 2020

Due to the recent extension of federal and local guidance on social distancing through April 30, campus leadership has extended remote working accordingly for all non-critical faculty and staff at CU Anschutz.

It is with the utmost concern for our campus community, and the health and safety of each and every one of you, that we have come to this difficult, yet essential, decision.

Social distancing is among the most vital actions we can take to slow the spread of this virus, so as a reminder, please do not come to campus unless you have been approved as a critical employee. Access to our buildings is monitored at all times and reviewed daily by leadership. If you are a critical employee, please follow the prevention protocols in place.

As this remains a dynamic situation, we will continue to review programming and campus operations to evaluate any potential need for exceptions due to this extension. Please note that, should we identify your program or area as falling under such exceptions, you will be contacted directly. And as always, faculty and staff with clinical responsibilities should consult with their clinical supervisors.

We are grateful to every member of the CU Anschutz Medical Campus community for your creativity and collaboration during these uncertain times. We see your dedication every day - from the thousands of you working from home offices and workstations, to those critical employees on the front lines in our campus facilities and hospitals. Your continued support is truly appreciated as we navigate the weeks ahead.

We will continue to send communications as the rapidly changing situation warrants. Please visit www.cuanschutz.edu/coronavirus for the latest information.
