COVID-19

CU Anschutz Policy Guidance

March 23, 2020

News is constantly evolving around the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). It can be difficult to know which developments may impact our campus, so we will continue to provide updates to our faculty, students and staff as often as needed.

While Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock both recently issued public health orders for Colorado and Denver, the policies in place at CU Anschutz remain unchanged at this time.

CU Anschutz has transitioned to remote learning and course delivery through the entirety of the spring semester, as well as remote working for all faculty and staff through April 3. The only exception at this time is the small percentage of faculty and staff who have been designated as “critical” to their unit or department. Clinical staff should continue to consult with their clinical supervisors. Campus leadership will continue to monitor the changing pandemic and make operational decisions accordingly.

We encourage all students, faculty and staff to continue to exercise the highest level of caution as it pertains to your health and safety, both as members of the CU community and in your personal lives. By minimizing social interaction and avoiding community spaces, you help keep yourself and others healthy.

More information will be provided as it becomes available. In the meantime, please continue to find up-to-date information and resources at www.cuanschutz.edu/coronavirus.
