COVID-19 Testing & Contact Tracing

CU Anschutz employees and students, as well as household members, have several options for free COVID-19 testing, depending on whether you:

  • have symptoms of COVID-19
  • have no symptoms of COVID-19
  • have been exposed (within 6 feet for 15+ minutes over 24-hour period of COVID-positive individual)
*COVID-19 symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea.

Have COVID-19 Symptoms or Have Been ExposedHave No COVID-19 Symptoms and Unexposed
  1. Self-report your status.
  2. Register for on-campus, drive-up testing, using access code EHS and your university email address.
  3. Follow the instructions provided there by the CU Anschutz Occupational Health and Contact Tracing team.

  1. Register for testing and choose either the on-campus location in Education 1 (enter through a campus check-in location for screening and obtain your wristband before your appointment at the testing location on east side of Ed 1, door P26-1R), or the drive-up Aurora Public Schools Professional Learning and Conference Center location.

    Use your CU Anschutz employee/student ID and your university email address to register yourself for testing, and passcode F3E5D8BDE to register household members and minors.

  2. If you receive a positive test result, please self-report your status and await further instruction from the CU Anschutz Occupational Health and Contact Tracing team, to come within 24 hours.
