CU Anschutz is tremendously proud of your accomplishments and eager to honor the hard work and dedication that have brought you to this milestone.
All graduation ceremonies take place on Monday, May 18, 2026 on the CU Anschutz campus.
CU Anschutz Commencement Ceremony kicks off the day on Boettcher Commons and all graduates are expected to attend. In this ceremony, you'll receive words of congratulations from CU Anschutz Chancellor Don Elliman and University of Colorado President Todd Saliman, applaud award recipients, and have your degrees officially conferred.
School and program convocations immediately follow the commencement ceremony in various locations on campus. Individual recognition of graduates occurs in these program-specific ceremonies.
Registration for graduates opens in mid-February and deadlines depend on your degree and which cap and gown delivery option you select.
April 15* - Registration deadline for MD graduates and regalia ordering deadline for all graduates opting for campus cap and gown pick-up
April 20* - Deadline for standard home shipping on cap and gown orders
April 30* - Final advance cap and gown ordering deadline. Expedited shipping rates will be applied
After April 30, walk-up orders will still be accepted at cap and gown distribution on May 14 & 15 in Ed 2 North 1304. A $30 late fee is charged to all walk-up orders.
