Drawing on decades of experience, our faculty integrate bioethics and health humanities content for health professional learners in a variety of different programs and at different stages of educational development. Our faculty deliver innovative curricula that focuses on the collaboration among clinical learning, policy education and health professional ethics. We extend education beyond the classroom and into the community through engaging programs that inform and empower the public on key issues.
Engaging a Full Spectrum of Learners
The Graduate Certificate in Bioethics and Humanities in Health: Our graduate program offers multiple options for individuals working in health fields. Take one class, complete the entire graduate certificate, or build a foundation for advanced training.
Minor in Health Humanities: This undergraduate interdisciplinary program at the CU Denver campus equips students with a comprehensive understanding of how different disciplines approach health and medicine. It includes attending events at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine campus, such as lectures in the Arts and Humanities series, Mini Med School and other special programming.

Holocaust Genocide and Contemporary Bioethics program: Educates and engages health professionals on Holocaust lessons to ensure they uphold their duty to protect patients.
National Collaborative on Humanities and Ethics in Dentistry (NCHED) is a joint initiative with the University of Texas Health, the University of Rochester and Loyola University to create unique and valuable opportunities for reflection, learning and teaching on ethical issues in dentistry
Public Health Ethics & Law program: A joint initiative with the Colorado School of Public Health to inform public health policy and practice, leveraging CU Anschutz relationships and guided by an advisory board for health justice.
