Welcome to a place that seeks to center humanity in healthcare. The Center for Bioethics and Humanities hosts world-class programs that foster values, imagination and vibrant community. As we focus on creating transformational learning, scholarship, and thoughtful dialogue, we hope you'll stay awhile, and get involved. Meet our team of hardworking ethicists, researchers, faculty and staff, students and volunteers. We're glad you're here!
To advance health sciences through the integration of ethics, humanities, and the arts in education, clinical practice, and research.
To chart a future where all health sciences are guided by ethics, evidence, and creativity in pursuit of a more just and compassionate world.
Annually, the Center hosts more than 50 free programs, lectures, events and art exhibits for students, CU badge-wearers and the public. We can't do this work without the generous participation of our community and our students.
Our Student Interest Group is a platform for students from all CU Anschutz schools and colleges to connect with others who share an interest in humanities and ethics in healthcare. Join us for meaningful collaborations and activities related to our areas of interest.
The Colorado Collaborative for Health, Ethics and Arts (CCHEA) connects, coordinates and enhances the Center's work with initiatives from organizations that work to promote human health and wellbeing at the intersections of health humanities, bioethics and the arts. Interested individuals may contact us anytime to join our mailing list or learn more about the community board.
