Yes! We offer guided tours for K-12 students, CU classes, healthcare teams, community groups, and other interested parties. Tours can be customized to focus on specific themes relevant to your group's interests or educational objectives. Please contact the Arts and Humanities in Healthcare Program team at [email protected] at least 2-3 weeks in advance to schedule.

We welcome exhibition proposals that align with our mission of exploring the intersections of art, health, ethics, and social justice. While gallery exhibitions are typically booked up to a year in advance or longer (the duration of exhibitions are usually around six months), we welcome your ideas anytime. Please contact the Arts & Humanities in Healthcare Program team at [email protected], with an artist/curator statement, exhibition concept, sample images, and your CV and we will be in touch. We are especially interested in exhibitions that are co-sponsored with other CU departments and programs.

Yes, we regularly host artist talks, community circles, workshops, and other interdisciplinary events that complement our exhibitions. These programs are designed to deepen engagement with exhibition themes and foster dialogue between diverse participants from healthcare, academia, and the community. If you have an idea for exhibition-related programming, please reach out to the Arts and Humanities in Healthcare Program team at [email protected]. 

The gallery is available for select events that align with our mission and values. Priority is given to programs hosted by Center for Bioethics and Humanities faculty, staff, student groups, and our partners during the gallery's normal operating hours.

CU-badged students can visit the gallery from 9am – 5pm on Mondays through Fridays. Leaders of student groups may also contact the Arts & Humanities in Healthcare program if they want to organize a visit or program. Students are also welcome to conduct research on the exhibitions. Internships, such as through the Diversity in the Arts Internship program, are occasionally available. Students may also consider enrolling in the Bioethics and Humanities in Health Graduate Certificate program, where courses such as “The Art of Observation” are offered.

CU-badged faculty can visit the gallery from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. Instructors are welcome to bring their students to the gallery during these times, as well. The art gallery at the Fulginiti Pavilion relies on the generosity of donors and supporters to sustain our innovative programming and impactful exhibitions. Your contributions help us to:

• Hire expert curators and gallery staff with backgrounds in arts, ethics, social justice, healthcare, and patient advocacy
• Fund thought-provoking art exhibitions and programs that challenge the status quo, improve clinical practice, and enhance patient experience
• Develop strong partnerships across University of Colorado campuses, healthcare facilities, and communities to ensure diverse artistic representation in healthcare settings
• Create innovative educational initiatives that use art to foster ethical reflection, action, and skill development
