Campus Strategy supports the design, implementation and evaluation of the strategic planning process at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and works to ensure that the campus plan aligns with the priorities set forth by campus leadership, the CU System and the Board of Regents. We also consult with the Chancellor, EVCAF/CFO and other senior leaders on critical campus-wide initiatives and priorities as they emerge by providing strategy guidance, project management and change management services.

Ryan Davis M.B.A.
Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Associate Vice Chancellor of Budget, Planning, and Campus Strategy
Ryan Davis, MBA, is currently the Associate Vice Chancellor of Budget, Planning and Campus Strategy and Deputy CFO at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In this role, Ryan directs campus-level financial planning and analysis activities, which include the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, capital project analysis and coordination of financing activities, and evaluation of major campus initiatives. Additionally, Ryan leads the Continuous Improvement and Shared Services teams, the Office of Digital Learning, and the Campus Strategy Office.
Before joining the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in 2016, Ryan served as the Director of Budget at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and prior to that, he served as the Finance Manager for Strategic Financial Planning at SCL Health (now Intermountain Health) in Broomfield, Colorado. He has extensive experience in the healthcare, higher education, and financial services industries and brings more than 25 years of financial management experience to the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.
Ryan obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business and received his MBA from Regis University. In his free time, Ryan, a Colorado native, enjoys spending time with his wife and two children traveling, skiing, golfing, and hiking.

Clay Farnsley
Project Manager
Clay Farnsley is Project Manager in Campus Strategy. In this role, he helps to manage large-scale projects and critical initiatives. Clay brings a wealth of experience from prior positions at Capital One and Apple Inc., where he specialized in Marketing and Operations Project Management as well as people leadership. With a background in technology and finance, he also contributed to mentoring of peers and people throughout his life. Clay earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Western Kentucky University. Clay, a Colorado transplant by way of Kentucky and Virginia, enjoys all the things that Colorado has to offer and can often be found up in the Alpine talking to pikas and watching for some of his favorite birds.

Louisa Paolini
Project & Change Management Coordinator
Louisa Paolini is a Project & Change Management Coordinator in Campus Strategy. In her role, Louisa contributes to multiple projects that support the CU Anschutz strategic plan. Her responsibilities include planning and tracking work execution, engaging with various stakeholder groups to drive alignment, and applying change management frameworks to maximize user adoption while minimizing business disruption. In her prior experience, Louisa worked for Accenture, a global technology consulting firm, and a corporate event agency. In her previous roles she managed projects, designed solutions, and partnered with clients to generate positive experiences and shared success. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and a minor in French from Gonzaga University and spent several years in Austin, Texas before returning to Denver where she grew up. In her free time, Louisa enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking new recipes, fostering dogs and cheering for the Zags.

Aimee Woznick Ph.D.
Director of Strategy Implementation
Aimee Woznick, Ph.D. directs the office of Campus Strategy. In her role, she helps to facilitate the design, implementation, and evaluation of the campus's strategic plan. She leads a small project and change management team that champions the collaborative implementation of resulting initiatives as well as other high-level, campus-wide projects.
Across her career as an administrator, Dr. Woznick has served in leadership roles at colleges and universities with varied profiles and missions. At CU Anschutz, she helped facilitate the campus's first-ever independent strategic planning process. She has also driven organizational change at SUNY Buffalo State, SUNY Empire State, and Villa Maria College, with campus-wide projects touching on student retention, digital learning, educational access, campus culture and climate, and the implementation of enterprise software solutions. At Buffalo State, she built out a student support services division that accompanied a $16.1 million construction project to bring those services together in the university library.
Dr. Woznick earned a Ph.D. & M.A. in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed her undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, reading, rooting for the Buffalo Bills, and (occasionally!) training for a triathlon.
