Lauren (she/her) serves as the Director of ODAI, having joined the office in January 2022. She has worked at CU Denver | Anschutz since 2016, predominately in the ADA and Affirmative Action spaces. Prior to joining CU, she was a civil rights attorney litigating employment discrimination and police misconduct cases. She also taught in the University of Denver Sturm College of Law’s Civil Rights Clinic for two years. Outside of work, you can usually find Lauren cheering on her beloved Michigan Wolverines in whatever sport happens to be in season.
Britt (she/her) spent the last ten years in disability services supporting access and inclusion of disabled students. Prior to working at CU Anschutz, she was the Assistant Director for Access and Accommodations at Colorado State University and served as Interim Director during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Outside of work, you will find Britt watching Sci-Fi or fantasy shows on Netflix, playing MTG, or going to a show at Red Rocks.
Maxine (Max) Lomax joined the ODAI Team in December 2021 as an Access Coordinator. An enthusiastic social worker, Max is dedicated to advocating and supporting marginalized populations, she has advised foster care youth seeking higher education, counselled bereaved families, and has supported disabled scholars in universities from Massachusetts to Colorado. Outside of work, Max enjoys traveling, baking, and listening to podcasts.
