New Employee Orientation

Any new hire or rehire with a .50 FTE or greater appointment, who has had more than a 6-month gap in service OR is switching campuses from CU Boulder or UCCS should plan to complete NEO. If the employee is switching between CU Denver and Anschutz, please reach out to the new L&D department to determine if NEO would be recommended.

If the employee has not had a 6-month gap in service and has previously completed NEO*, then retaking NEO is optional.

If an employee has less than a .50FTE appointment, NEO is not required but is highly encouraged for the employee to learn about their CU community.

Employees should plan to complete NEO within the first 30 days of hire.

No, employees should plan to complete the orientation after their start date and have 30 days to complete.

The Learning and Development team will upload new hires to the Percipio NEO course on the date that is listed on the registration form in C-Vent.

Our team will then email the new hire instructions on how to access the Percipio NEO course. The supervisor will be cc’d on this notification email.
