Nancy Robertson, DNP, NP, ACHPN

Nancy is the Co-Director, nursing lead for the MSPC. She is an Assistant Professor and teaches, as well as course directs, in the Interprofessional Palliative Care certificate and Masters programs. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, advanced hospice and palliative care certification and practices in the UC Health Palliative Care clinic.

Nancy began her nursing career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD before moving to Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. As an Advance Practice Nurse, her interest has centered around geriatrics and the end of life. For several years she practiced in the community starting a palliative care service, serving as hospice attending and mentoring other palliative care programs and staff. She is an active member of the Hospice & Palliative Care Nurses Association, currently serving on the Graduate Faculty committee. She and her family love Colorado and all the outdoor activities it affords them but are always up for a beach trip!
