Alison joined the University of Colorado in January 2024 as a patent agent, supporting CU Innovations in protecting the University’s intellectual property. Prior to joining the University Counsel staff, Alison was a patent agent for a private practice based in California where she specialized in patent prosecution.

Alison holds Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) and Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Alison is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
