Susan Okie, MD, read from her award-winning book of poetry, Woman at the Crossing on November 13, 2023.  The discussion was hosted by Mark Kissler, MD, MS, Assistant Professor at the CU School of Medicine.  Okie is a family medicine physician by training, a former medical reporter and editor for the Washington Post and the New England Journal of Medicine. This debut publication, Woman at the Crossing, won the Off the Grid Poetry Prize, an annual contest for poets aged 60 or older.
