Skorton and Lisa Howley wrote an opinion article about the monograph, The Fundamental Role of the Arts and Humanities in Medical Education, recently issued by the AAMC, with the objective to improve the education, practice, and well-being of physicians through deeper integrative experiences with the arts and humanities.
