“Without considering ethics, defeating the pandemic will be difficult,” said Matthew Wynia, MD, MPH, Director of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities. With limited supplies of COVID-19 vaccines, ethicists are striving to ensure that people at greatest risk for severe disease and death are prioritized. “These are not only scientific decisions.
