Each year, Dual Star Company performs a fundraiser for local organizations. This year they partnered with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus to support the ALK+ Lung Cancer Colorado Fund for a dear friend and member who was diagnosed with Stage IV Non Small Cell, ALK Positive (nonsmoker) Lung Cancer at the age of 44.

Thanks to their generosity and the power of this community, the Dual Star Company's Dance for a Difference fundraiser was an overwhelming success.

More than 187 people joined together to contribute $18,158!

We're trying to get access to tomorrow's treatments today. We’ve got 40% of our lung cancer patients on clinical trials, which is double the next best lung cancer program in the country and more than 10 times the national average. And that's not just because we throw trials at people. We try very hard to select the trials that are going to address unmet needs.
