This clinical trial is made possible thanks to a major recent milestone for CU Anschutz — U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance to move forward with a first-in-human trial for the campus-developed CD64 CAR T therapy for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Distributions from this fund may also include operational support to enable treatment of patients with CMML through Gates Institute clinical programs, accelerating the translation of this breakthrough therapy from the laboratory to patient care.
We thank the Mike and Sofia Segal Foundation for its visionary investment in advancing clinical innovation and patient-centered research at CU Anschutz. We are also grateful to Anne McDonnell from the Office of Advancement for her partnership in bringing this important gift to fruition.
