Colorado Day Blitz Supporting Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH) Research an Overwhelming Success

Thanks to the generosity of those who contributed to this crowdfunding campaign, the Colorado Day Blitz to support nonketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH) research was an overwhelming success!
The fundraising goal was set at $35,000, yet almost 500 people from all over the world joined together to contribute more than $56,000.
Dr. Johan Van Hove and his team at the NKH Research Lab at the University of Colorado are pioneering new treatments, including combining two compounds that together could normalize brain glycine levels - something current treatments cannot achieve. This breakthrough has the potential to be effective for most, if not all, individuals diagnosed with NKH.
We are so grateful for the tremendous response to the Colorado Day Blitz that will help drive essential research for a disease that does not receive large-scale funding.
Thank you for your partnership as we work to find life-changing treatments for those with NKH.
Thank you to each of the nearly 500 donors who gave to the NKH Colorado Blitz 2024! I am so grateful for the support provided to our NKH research lab due to this collective effort. It is humbling to see such a substantial amount given (and matched!) in such a short time. Our research's progress would not be possible without philanthropic support from donors like you! Thank you!
