When he joined Amgen in 1994, Lacey was responsible for a number of key research programs and helped to make significant advancements in the understanding of bone biology. He played an important role in the discovery of osteoprotegerin (OPG) and in the understanding of the RANK/RANK Ligand pathway in bone metabolism that paved the way for the development of denosumab (Prolia). 

Before joining Amgen, Lacey was on the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis, MO where he taught pathology residents and medical students and pursued NIH-funded research in bone cell biology. Lacey received his MD from the University of Colorado and is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, and the International Bone and Mineral Society.

Stanley Lapidus is an inventor and serial entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience founding and leading breakthrough medical diagnostic and scientific instrumentation companies that have significantly improved patient lives. Two of these companies developed diagnostics tests that have been widely adopted. 

He founded Cytyc Corporation in 1987 and is the principal inventor of that company’s ThinPrep Pap test. The ThinPrep was hailed by the FDA as the first significant improvement over the Pap smear in 50 years and was acquired by Hologic for $6B. In 1995, he founded EXACT Sciences Corporation which developed the ColoGuard test for the early detection of colorectal cancer and polyps. ColoGuard was approved by the FDA as the only non-invasive test with sensitivity comparable to colonoscopy for early detection of cancer. 

Stan holds 36 US patents and has held academic appointments at Tufts Medical School and MIT. He currently serves on the boards of directors of a number of public and private companies. From 2002 to 2012, he served as a Trustee of The Cooper Union. In 2013, he was inducted into the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering for his contributions to medical diagnostics. Stanley Lapidus received the CUAA Gano Dunn Award in 1998 and was inducted into The Cooper Union Hall of Fame in 2009.

Steven Lindseth has founded/co-founded and invested in companies in healthcare devices, technology enabled services, digital media and enterprise software. He has served on numerous boards and participated in raising dozens of rounds of equity and debt financing from both venture capital and corporate sources.

He is a senior advisor to Triple Tree, a leading healthcare technology merchant bank and private equity firm. He is on the boards of Imagescan (transactional content management), Nucleus Health (a leader in tele-radiology and related image sharing technology) and Cleveland Clinic Innovations, which oversees innovation commercialization for that institution. He is an advisor to Healthprize (a prescription medication adherence company), Knowledge Factor (a leader in neuroscience-based education), Cyft (a new tool to enable anyone to build predictive models), and Fitzroy Health (building and advising tech-enabled healthcare companies). He is a consultant to Partners Healthcare (MA General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals), Mercy Health, Ariadne Labs, and Anschutz Medical Campus/University of Colorado. 

Steve has been a founding investor in numerous prior ventures including: Dental Research Corp (the maker of the Interplak Toothbrush) which sold to Bausch & Lomb; Thermoscan (the maker of the Thermoscan Thermometer) which sold to Gilette; Complient (an outsource provider of emergency medical response services) which sold to Cardiac Science; Axentis (a provider of compliance software for the pharmaceutical industry) which sold to Wolters Kluwer; Explorys (a clinical big data management company) which sold to IBM; and YouBeauty (a women’s digital media wellness business) which sold to Caivis Holdings.

Dr. Wayne Guerra is a healthcare entrepreneur with a deep commitment to helping consumers make better healthcare decisions. Most recently, he was the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of iTriage. iTriage is one of the most widely downloaded healthcare applications that helps millions of users find appropriate and cost-effective healthcare providers. iTriage was the first mobile healthcare exit, being acquired by Aetna in September 2011, three years after the company was founded.

Wayne is also an advisor to Listen MD, a lecturer for MBA students at Daniels College of Business, the co-founder of Garde Systems, and is on the Board as a Director at Mount Saint Vincent.

Dr. Guerra has more than 20 years of experience in clinical and academic emergency medicine. He earned his medical and undergraduate degrees at UCLA and his MBA from the University of Denver.​

Dr. Foster is an Emeritus Director of McKinsey & Company, Inc. Dr. Foster joined McKinsey in 1973, was elected a partner in 1978 and a Senior Partner/Director in 1982. Dr. Foster founded several practices including the private equity practice, the healthcare practice and the technology and innovation practice, and he McKinsey’s worldwide knowledge development. Dr. Foster is Chairman of Ancera Diagnostics, and Higi Health Data; a Board Member at ZocDoc, DrFirst, Advantia Health, LeanTaas, and SQream Computers. Dr. Foster has been a member of the boards of athenahealth, the Santa Fe Institute and the Oak Ridge National Laboratories.

He was a member of the Point72 Advisory Board. Currently, he is Chairman of the Medical Research Committee of the W. M. Keck Foundation and a member of the Board of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he is focused particularly on digital healthcare technology. He is the Chair of the Presidents’ Circle of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine, where he is also a member of the Policy & Global Affairs Committee. Dr. Foster has written two best-selling books: Innovation: The Attacker’s Advantage (1986) and Creative Destruction (2001). Dr. Foster received his BS, MS, and PhD from Yale University in Engineering and Applied Science. He was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2008.
