Kirsten Wiegand is a Licensing Associate with CU Anschutz Innovations at the University of Colorado Anschutz, where she supports the evaluation, protection, and commercialization of university intellectual property.
Prior to joining Innovations, Kirsten practiced as a Patent Agent, assisting a diverse range of clients on intellectual property strategy and patent matters. Her experience spans technologies including wearable health devices, prosthetics, antibody-based therapeutics, consumable products, chemical and materials science, among others. Throughout her career, she has worked with innovators ranging from startups and individual inventors to Fortune 500 companies.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
