CU Anschutz Year-End Holiday Schedule, 10-15-2026

Dear colleagues,

As we enter the final months of 2026, I want to share our holiday schedule to help you plan for the year-end break. We are pleased to once again offer this time off in appreciation of all you do for CU Anschutz throughout the year.

University operations at CU Anschutz will officially close at the end of business on Wednesday, December 23, and resume Monday, January 4.

We know that some members of our community will continue working on campus during this time because of clinical responsibilities and other essential/critical functions. Those employees will receive equivalent administrative leave to use in accordance with holiday plan provisions, in coordination with their supervisors. We are grateful to everyone whose work keeps our essential operations running all year long.

This extended break combines the university holidays of December 24, December 25 and January 1 with additional paid Chancellor administrative leave for CU Anschutz faculty and staff. You can find the full holiday schedule and FAQs on the Human Resources website. As in previous years, any additional administrative leave declared by the governor will offset, rather than extend, this time off.

Please accept our sincere gratitude for your many contributions to our mission. We hope the break ahead provides a welcome opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy time away.
