CU Anschutz Holiday Schedule, 11-5-2025

Dear colleagues:

Before we head into the final stretch of the calendar year, I’d like to share our holiday schedule ‒ and thank you for all you’ve made possible in 2025. Whether you're planning travel, holiday celebrations or simply some well-earned rest, we hope this time off brings you joy and relaxation. 

University operations at CU Anschutz will be officially closed from end of business on Tuesday, December 23, through Friday, January 2, resuming Monday, January 5. 

Those employees with clinical responsibilities and other essential functions requiring them to be on campus during this time will receive equivalent administrative leave prior to the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2026. We are thankful to those who sustain our essential campus operations year round and encourage you to take this additional leave as your schedule allows, in coordination with your supervisor. 

We made the decision to free up this time in recognition of your hard work by combining the holidays of December 24, December 25 and January 1 with additional paid administrative leave for CU Anschutz faculty and staff. You can find our updated holiday schedule on the Human Resources website. Any additional administrative leave declared by Governor Polis this year will offset, rather than extend, this additional time off.
