SACNAS Vision
Achieving true diversity in STEM.
True diversity means that the field (including leadership positions) reflects the demographics of the population.
Science Outreach
As leaders in our communities, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure equal access to scientific opportunities for all. We are dedicated to sharing our knowledge with other students around our community at all levels of
education including undergraduate, high school, and elementary.
Professional Development
Along with workshops and conferences provided by the National organization, our student-led chapter is dedicated to providing professional development opportunities to our members. These range from networking events to summer teaching opportunities.
Social Hours
We are dedicated to creating a safe community environment for underrepresented minorities on campus. The goal of our social hours is to bring us together as a community to share our achievements, ideas, and even our troubles.
