AI Understanding
Understand AI capabilities, limitations, risks and possible applications.Start your AI learning journey where you're at and grow with confidence at your own pace.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we work, teach, conduct research, deliver care and manage operations at the university. We are committed to ensuring that every member of the university community, regardless of role or technical background, has access to practical, relevant and trustworthy AI learning.
The AI Learning Journeys are a curated, continuously updated set of learning pathways designed to help faculty, staff and students build AI skills at your own pace, discover tools and techniques relevant to your specific work, and grow your confidence and capability as AI continues to evolve.
Note: Depending on your role with the university, some trainings may not be accessible due to restricted platform access. These trainings will be identified so that you can easily navigate your options.
The AI Learning Journeys are designed for everyone at CU Anschutz, including:
There are three learning journeys: AI Foundations, AI Practitioner and AI Advanced.
These journeys are not rigid programs with fixed requirements. Instead, they are curated learning pathways that guide you toward the content most relevant to where you are today and where you want to go.
Each journey includes:
Because AI changes rapidly, so do the learning resources in the AI Learning Journeys.
Course listings are reviewed and refreshed on an ongoing basis to ensure the content you find here is current, relevant and aligned with what is happening in AI today.
New courses are added to LinkedIn Learning, Percipio Skillsoft, and other platforms every month. New AI tools are approved, new use cases emerge, and new research shapes best practices. The AI Learning Journeys are designed to reflect this reality.
Explore what is most relevant to you right now, and return regularly to discover what is new.
Three learning pathways. Start where you are today and grow to where you want to go.
While the university does not issue institutional badges for completing the AI Learning Journeys, you can earn certificates of completion directly through the learning platforms that deliver the courses.
LinkedIn Learning issues certificates of completion for individual courses and learning paths which you can add to your LinkedIn profile.
Percipio Skillsoft tracks the courses you complete through your university Percipio account. Completion records are available in your personal learning history.
